1. 개요
oVirt 는 RHV(Red Hat Virtualization) 및 RHHI(Red Hat Hyperconverged Infrastructure) 의 오픈소스 버전이며,
설치 방법은 RHHI 설치방법을 참고한다.
2. 설치 미디어
oVirt 공식 웹사이트에서 ISO 이미지를 받아 설치할 수 있어서 편리하다.
4.4 버전은 CentOS 8 Stream 기반이며, 2GB 남짓이다.

3. HW 사양
네트워크
- 최소 2개의 NIC
- Front (Public) / Back-End (스토리지, 마이그레이션) 네트워크 분리
네트워크는 3개로 잡자
- ovirtmgr : ovirt-engine, 각 host 의 cockpit 접속
- public : 공인 IP 접속, 10~100GbE
- storage : 10~100GbE

최소 3노드 ~ 12노드

4. 설치
ISO 파일 설치
- ovirt-node-ng-installer ISO 파일을 설치한다
- CentOS 설치 방법과 동일하다
도메인 정의
- DNS 서비스가 운영되어야 ovirt 는 운영될 수 있다.
- DNS 서비스에 호스트의 IP가 등록되지 않은 경우, SSH를 통해 접속한 후, /etc/hosts 파일 을 수정한다
Cockpit 접속 후 Ovirt 설정
- https://<IP>:9090
- 응용프로그램 (Application) → Virtualization → HostedEngine → Hosted Engine with Gluster
Gluster 부터 설정한 후, Hosted Engine 설치
